We are the only private Sector company to have had a vehicle live tested by BPR&D (Bureau of Police Research and Development).
Till now no private sector player has taken the formal and proper route for design and certification of Bullet resistant vehicles. We first of all provided blue prints to BPR & D. Valuable feedback was collected from the actual users of vehicles and the protectors of VVIP’s and this was incorporated into the final design making the vehicle most user friendly.
The final prototype was handed over to the Authorities and field tests were carried out including the performance after armouring of major systems like engine, clutch, brakes, suspensions steering etc. Subsequent to this the vehicle was live tested including simultaneous explosion of two HE-36 grenades under the vehicle and the firing of 42 shots of 7.62 mm bullets using SLR.
This tested vehicle is available for viewing and test driving in Delhi. We can offer to armour any vehicle of your choice which is capable of pulling the extra weight of armouring. Typically the most suitable vehicles are SUV’s like Scorpio, Pajero, Montero, Prado Landcruiser etc.
